TRICK-OR TREAT!

Our little peacock

Off to Trick-or-Treat at the Rose's house, next door.

The first time we walked up to our neighbors house Gracey turned around and ran away when we were almost to the door. Then she decided to give it another try and went and said "hi" to Riley the Rose's dog. There was no interest in their candy. She was content with her 1 sucker all night!

Sticky face!

Gracey spent the entire night moving candy. She loved handing it out to the kids
and transferring it from one bucket to another.Maybe the Trick-or-Treating will come
next year. For now, she was perfectly content at home!

Helping mommy hand out candy. She loved it!

The sucker that lasted all night. This will probably be the last Halloween she will be content with just one treat! I hope everyone had a great night.
Happy Halloween!

We are home!

Our trip to El Salvador was my favorite vacation we have taken! Rob and his buddies went last year for a surf trip, and if I would have known how amazing this place was I would have petitioned to go too! We enjoyed our trip with 10 of our good friends and mainly had the resort and the surf break all to ourselves.

We took a boat trip one day to another surf break up the coast and minus a few sea sick girls we had so much fun on the boat together hollering at the guys

Fruity potion:)

We took a hike up the hill to look out over the untouched coastline.

Our surfing spectators

I logged in many surfing hours...I am now having withdrawals.

My girls, Leanne and Katie

Dustin and Ashley...one of many snuggle sessions.

The food was amazing! For someone who loves food, this was a trip for me. Omelets of my choice every morning, my favorite lunch was fresh fish taco's and dinner was a 3 course meal sure to impress. I did not go hungry in this 3rd world country!
After dinner every night we would sit around the table and play games until a lightening storm would scare us inside.

All the decor was very modern and fun.

I missed Gracey and was so excited to see her when we got home but, this trip helped me rediscover what it means to relax. It was nice being just the 2 of us again!

Swim-up bar pool overlooking the ocean...can it get much better?
There was another pool down below with a spa.

View from our room...I miss you already El Salvador. I am already scheming another trip!

"ffff" is as close to flower as we get

Mama May...are you ready for this little ball of energy? Bring your sun screen because we don't spend much time indoors around here.

We leave for El Salvador in 4 days!!! Can't wait!

Posted by PicasaAs many of you know our family spent my Birthday at Rady Children's Hospital last year with Gracey, as she under went Kidney surgery. A year has gone by, and I am grateful each day that we had such wonderful doctors and nurses that took care of my little girl. What joy and excitement she has brought into our lives! I'll keep having birthdays if being a mom continues to be this fulfilling. Thanks to all of my family and friends for the calls and emails today. They mean so much.
