We just got back a few days ago from a family visit to Utah. This was Gracey's 8th flight and by far the best! She has figured out that we are actually flying and had so much fun looking out the window and eating all of jet blue's yummy snacks! I think if you would have told me 5 years ago that many of my vacations would include Provo, Utah I would have said "Heck No" but apparently, I have matured... and can now appreciate the beauty of Utah! We had so much fun hanging out with all of our family and had an exciting day with everyone at the zoo. We appreciate everyone stopping their lives for our visit!

At the end of our trip we stayed with our friends "The Kennedy's"!
It was wonderful catching up and so much fun watching the girls play together. They are about a month apart. We were glad to see that Amelia isn't reading novels yet or playing chess...maybe next visit:) Thanks for your great hospitality Kennedy's!







Before we left for Utah we had a beach day with my dad. The pictures were so cute I couldn't pass up the opportunity to post them.All the kids are back to school making the beach practically empty...just how we like it!

I decided to spice up "the evening wait" for daddy tonight by turning on a little water...Gracey happily stripped off the clothes but couldn't bare to lose the crown.

Our "baby brother" Cam and his girlfriend came to visit for labor day weekend. On Saturday we drove up to Irvine Spectrum to have dinner with Andrew and Erinn. Cam fell asleep on the way there snuggling with Gracey's blanket. I think Cam needs a soft pink blankie!

OUR NIGERIAN DAD IS HOME!

YAAAA! My dad finally made it home from Nigeria. He left his house on Tues. and finally made it home on Sat. evening after many canceled flights and faulty airplanes. He came home looking like a Santa Claus that was addicted to tanning beds.

We don't get love very often from our active little girl but, today was quite the exception. Gracey's molars are making their way through, and she couldn't get enough of mommy today.


This was definitely the most relaxing beach day yet...it even included a nap. WHAT?

Mom pulls out the vitamins in the morning
I see my favorite blanket that Aunt Erinn got me

I am a big girl now because:
I can feed myself with a fork
I don't beg to nurse anymore
I like to pick out my clothes
I just got my first molar
I go with dad to nursery

I don't like:
to cuddle, kiss or anything affectionate for that matter (to my parents dismay)
getting my diaper changed
getting out of the bath

SO...as you can see, I Am A Big Girl Now!

Too much Fun for One Week!

We spent the day with Tiff, Kaden and Maddy yesterday and of course our day included water!

Today we took the kids on the train up to San Juan to the Petting Zoo. The ride was beautiful. Gracey didn't keep still so I didn't have a chance to drift off into dreamland watching the surf and wishing I was out there:)

The Alexander's met us at the zoo and we are so glad they came. Margeaux and Gracey play really well together although, Margeaux wishes Gracey knew how to play hide and go seek.
