A DAY FULL OF EXCITEMENT!
Last month we drove up to Fresno for my family's reunion. We don't get to see Grandma too often or visit with our cousins, so it was quite a treat to have everyone in the same place. We stayed with Dolly and her family. Gracey had so much fun playing with Kaylee's dolls and Kaylee was such a good sport sharing.
I loved staying up late, catching up and am so inspired by her journey with cute little Brayden. Love you Dolly and thanks for the great stay. The trip was worth it just to hang out with you!

LIONS, TIGERS AND BEARS....OH MY!

Grammy and Papa wanted to take the kids to the San Diego Zoo and Gracey loved every minute of it. She especially loved the Elephants.

Checking out the Giraffes

Posing with "Gloria"
Kaden loved the Zoo just as much as Gracey did.

Thanks Grammy and Papa for a fun day!

Just in case you were wondering where we have been.....

Jimi Eat World Concert with the Harris' and Waldrons.
J

Had some friends from back home come to stay for the weekend. Gracey and Lucy had a fun time together, especially at the beach.

Gracey still has swimming lessons twice a week and is working on mastering her little swimming arms.
She is loving surfing with daddy. She is not the least bit phased by the freezing water temps and is always telling us how fun it is.
She knows all of her colors and carries around a bag of crayons with her at all times. This is such a fun age. I am having some good laughs with my little chatter box buddy.
Although I am enjoying the communication, with it has come some serious ordering around. She tells me what she wants and how she wants it. Who knew a little person could be so opinionated.

Biggest news of all...Gracey is potty trained. She loves her Arial panties and wants nothing to do with diapers! Yaaaaa.

I also just finished putting on our ward conference dinner last night, served and prepared food Friday evening for the Daddy-Daughter night. I am glad to have this week behind me. Thanks mom, dad and Rob for all of your help:) Rob took me to Anthropologie on Sat for some retail therapy so I am ready to conquer anything!

Oh yeah, and did I mention I have 6 weeks and 3 days left until we are a family of 4! I am scheduled April 28th.

HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH

Gracey called this "the temple"

The Kennedy Family invited us to their annual Disney Land trip. Unfortunately, Gracey had the stomach bug so we only made it for a day....but it was a good one!

This was by far Gracey's favorite ride. I am so glad we came all the way to Disney Land to ride the merry-go-round! She chose to ride the seal all 4 times.
We were glad Rob could join us for one of our many week day outings. Thanks Kennedy's for showing us what Disney Land is all about.

This is what I saw this morning when I got on the scale. There is nothing better than being 7 1/2 months prego and weighing nothing! I think I will hold off on getting new batteries for a few months:)

Are you sure?

So, I panicked last night when I realized that I have about 9 weeks until my induction date. Many times I have gone out shopping with the intention of getting boy stuff, but somehow end up with a new pair of shoes for Gracey or hair bows... you know, all the fun girl stuff.
Anyways, I decided I needed to dedicate my Tuesday to baby boy essentials...car seat (without ruffles or pink) and shoes. (they are the only accessory a boy can have)
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

SKULLS. Ritzybaby.com
Pretty studly right? It's even reversible for when the minky in too hot in the summer!

Pedipeds.com lOVE,lOVE their shoes.

Actually, this will be his favorite accessory! A sister who knows how to find snails in her Sunday best.

VALENTINES

We all gathered on a rainy day at Tiff's to celebrate Valentines Day!

...and yes, there was some serious cookie making going on.

Grammy was so excited to help Gracey and Kaden make some hearts.

The cookies turned out adorable, many of which had a bite or two missing.
After cookies and lunch Jamie came and watched the kids while the"big girls" went to see a movie. Thanks for planning such a fun day mom!

THE TABLE HAS ARRIVED!!!!

Here is Gracey's little set up. She is all ready to play house with her little bro.

Berlin Nichole Johnson
3 weeks old

We are so excited that Barrett and Jeanine got to welcome this little angel into their family. I knew as soon as she was born that Gracey and I would be making a trip very soon to Utah to see the newest addition to our family.

Gracey got lots of kisses this week, especially from Uncle Barrett.

The Girls

Gracey loved all of the attention. Papa May and Cam took her to the Creamery for some ice cream and she managed to bring home some new books and flash cards (which she is currently obsessed with) She can say all of the words on the cards and make the sounds. I am sure everyone despised us on the plane. Erinn and I got in a fun shopping day and joined Steve for the open house of the Draper Temple that evening. Cameron planned out a delicious menu for us that week and we all enjoyed cooking together. Yep, it was another fun trip to Utah.
