Happiest Place on Earth!

Our friends Dave and Teishi orchestrated a wonderful 2 days spent at "The Happiest Place on Earth!" Dave works for Disney so we were all very grateful for the "silver" treatment we recieved. Here is part of the crew. There was one more family that went with 2 kids, but as you can imagine traveling with a group that big we were lucky we got a picture at all. And grandma's... don't worry I know it looks like my child only has half her clothes on, well between the 75 degree weather and getting drenched we opted for the no clothes option.

That would be the best tasting apple Gracey has ever had!

I launched "Felicity's Designs Blog" last month. When I started college I was majoring in art and design and working full time as a dental assistant. I thought being creative and getting paid to do it would be a dream. The practical side of my brain took over and I changed directions and decided to go to Dental Hygiene School. Fortunately I love the dental field, especially the wonderful people that I worked with through the years and my patients. Although, now that I am home with Gracey I am starting to re explore my creative outlets and I am having so much fun! Here are some of the hand painted signs I have made this month:

L&W Oh so soft!

Today Leanne and I ventured up to Orange County to Rhonda's home, the owner of Lacy&William. And if you know me, you know that I am in love with her blankets. They are the softest thing you have ever felt and they are so cute and trendy! Yes, I am an addict! Here are some of my favorites:

The Lacy&William blog is in my favorites just in case you want to be an addict as well!

WE LOVE SNOWFLAKE!

I think Gracey and Snowflake might have the same teeth!
(OOps is that a bad mom?)

When Meiken discovered that I visit Costco multiple times a week, we decided to do a grocery and pizza run together. Margeaux insisted that Gracey ride in her cart, even though Gracey's is hot pink and all cushy. We did not make it past any samples without both girls yelling, needless to say we left with some very messy faces! The best part was when we were outside eating pizza, a gentleman walked by that had tattoo's down his arms and Margeaux yells "Mom look it's a Pirate, look there he goes....It's a pirate mom" Comedy

Finally a play date! Kaden and Maddy have been sick the past few weeks which unfortunately, has kept us apart . Aunt Harmony taught the kids the best way to use an exercise ball is to bounce. I think I totally agree Harmony!

We HEART Grammy

Grammy spent part of the week with us and we love and appreciated every minute of her visit! On Sat. night Rob and I were able to have a date night which is always a treat! Gracey was able to show off her new "tricks" and some new teeth! Thanks mom for all the clean dishes and play time with Gracey.

We spent Sat at the beach with the Harris'. The boys got a surf session in and the kids got down and dirty in the sand. Gracey only ate a few sticks but swallowed a truck load of sand. OOps!

Beach day in February!

I am reminded on a daily basis how great Southern California is, but a beach day in early February, can it get any better? Nothing could keep Gracey and I away. 74 degrees and not a cloud in the sky - are you kidding me?
Here are some pics from our fun day at the beach. Unfortunately daddy was hard at work. Thanks Rob! I just adore this picture. I captured a moment of fascination. If you have spent any time with Gracey you know that these still moments are few. I cherish this one:)

Coming home to a hard working daddy, smelling like sun block and seaweed!
(Gracey smelled like seaweed, not daddy)

Thanks Candace for the adorable outfit!

Gracey loves Backyardagins!

Rob and I were having some friends over for dinner and we were trying to figure out how we would both be able to cook. Well...we are terrible parents. We stuck Gracey in front of Backyardagins for a half hour. She was perfectly content as you can tell.

I'm learning how to walk, I have 2 teeth and crazy hair!

We miss you already!

Aunt Erinn brought Gracey a beautiful cuddly blanket. Thanks a bunch, we love it! Erinn did bath time with Gracey and taught her the "brush your teeth song". She loves the sonicare. What 9 month old doesn't have a sonicare?

Uncle Cam getting himself some love.

Some Happy Grandparents!
Grandma May has spent the last 12 days at our house. Papa May and Max the dog joined us this weekend, along with Cam and Erinn, Andrew and Ella the Smith's dog. I think Gracey and I are going to wake up in the morning and be awfully lonely. She can hardly wait for me to come and get her out of her crib in the morning. She can hear the dogs bells jingling and Grandma's sweet voice. Jeri joined me on my workouts and my morning eggs...she fits right in. This week Gracey learned how to waive, clap and pose for the camera. We love having visitors, especially our family whom we love so much. Thanks for the visit!

A Night of Everything Taylor

For Christmas Rob got us tickets to go see Taylor Swift. We went to her kick off night at the Wilshire Theater in Beverly Hills. We had great seats... as you can tell. It was a fun night together and we were happily surprised that we were not the oldest ones there!:)

Happy Family! We found out this week that Gracey's kidney surgery was successful. Yeah!!!

Grammy has been very busy

Uncle Cam came to visit with his girlfriend Liz. It was great having them and we love Liz. They went to the Wild Animal Park while they were here and Cam was determined to find The Cheesecake Factory.
We took Liz and Cam to dinner at Flemming's for Cam's birthday. As you can see there wasn't much left. Always a delicious meal!

Thanks for visiting Liz and Cam!

BABY SKYE IS HERE!

Skye Alyse was born yesterday at 1:19pm weighing in at 6lbs 4oz, 19 1/2 inches. Eric and Harmony were excited to be able to bring her home today. All that hair is from the Cottrell family...she has already passed up Gracey in that department. She is so adorable. Congrats Eric and Harm, you are both going to be great parents!

There is nothing like ringing in the New Year with a Harris Party!

Ryan and Leanne threw a New Years bash in their new home. It was so much fun to see all of our friends. I think the Karaoke machine was the highlight of the night.I am convinced the whole neighborhood heard Rob try to prove to the crowd that he should have been a Backstreet Boy. He had me convinced years ago:)

Matt played some tunes to get the party started. Miles snuck down stairs and was captivated.

The "Spice Girls" in action.

Leanne did an amazing job on the food. It was beautiful...I wouldn't expect any less:) You're the best Leanne!
